  1. One of my very favorite memoies around valentines day was last year, when my husband and i were anticipating the arrival of our very first child together.

My husband has done many romantic things and said many sweet things over the years that we have been together BUT nothing compares to what he said last year around Valentine's day.

We were laying down ready to go to bed. We had given each other our goodnight kisses and said our "I Love You's," when he said, "thank you for having our child.

I feel so LUCKY to be bringing a child in this world with you." Since I have been pregnant he always tells me how beautiful I look and always says how he hopes our first daughter is as beautiful as I am. I don't think there was anything sweeter than hearing something like that during your pregnancy.

As a woman we go through so many changes during pregnancy and I just felt so BEAUTIFUL at that moment and a tear ran down my cheek.

  2. My favorite memory is more of a favorite valentine's day tradition that my husband and I do every year. At the end of the night after dinner and after we've digested a little we always have a toblerone chocolate fondue with all our favorite fruits. And if he's working late we just skip dinner and go straight to dessert just to keep up our tradition. I look forward to it every year!!!

  3. My favorite Valentine's memory is Valentine's Day 2006, celebrating with my husband, then "boyfriend", Neil in beautiful Dominican Republic. It was a trip that my husband had planned for many months, and it is one that I will never forget! We shared many romantic moments, and created memories that I will hold close to my heart forever. Two months later, he proposed!

  4. My favorite Valentine's memory was the first year of my annual Vday Valentini Celebration on Vday 2010. The night began with the signature Valen-Tini cocktail and carried throughout were fun finger foods with flare, lots of laughter, and good company. Of course we were all able to end the night with an array of sweet treats. (is there any other way to end valentines day). Looking forward to celebrating this year.

  5. My favourite Valentine's Day memory was the year that my hubby [then boyfriend] had his wisdom teeth taken out. Now, I know what you are thinking ... not a very nice memory. Was it b/c he was quiet and couldn't argue with me? No no. It's my favourite memory b/c we got to spend the day together at home and I was able to look after him and help him feel a little bit better. My hubby spends a lot of his time [well, pretty much all of it] taking care of me and making sure that I am happy, so when I have a chance to pay that back to him [even if it's just a little bit] it makes me very happy. So that's it, nothing big, nothing extravagant. Just an ordinary day that was special to me. ~ Megan LaSalle
