How far along?: 15 weeks
How big is baby?: Baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple).
Weight gain?: I am up 4 pounds.
Stretch marks?: I never experienced stretch marks during my first two pregnancies but noticed a few after having Baby D as I returned to pre-baby weight. I have been lathering on the olive oil and have noticed those post-pregnancy stretch marks are getting lighter!
Maternity clothes?: Still rocking the leggings and yoga pants!
Food cravings?: All I crave is fruit. Lots of plums, apples, oranges and grapefruit.
Sleep?: This insomnia is starting to kick my butt. I fall asleep for 20 minutes and then I am wide wake. I am not sure why, but sleep just isn't happening.
Gender?: We still don't know.
Exercise?: The kids have been keeping me busy. I am so happy the weather is warming up as we have been able to get out for our daily walks.
What's been going on? Sleep, I want some! It doesn't help that I continue to be sick each morning. It's like clockwork, within 20 minutes of rising out of bed it is time for me to run to the bathroom. Along with the sickness and no sleep, a bonus .. extreme congestion, all day long! Oh the joys of pregnancy, but I just keep looking at the big picture and a little person I hope to hold in my arms this September.

march break
This momma is still recovering from March Break madness. Mind you, it was a low-key week, but we did enjoy a few outings and spent time with family and friends. The kids had a blast and seem to be picking up their steam again as they are running around the house this morning screaming at the top of their lungs. I thought I would share a few tidbits of our March Break adventures.

st.patrick's day
How was everyone's weekend? We had a fabulous weekend spent with family. The hubby and I were even lucky enough to sneak in a date night on Sunday.
Saturday, we traveled to Brockville to visit the family. The kids were so excited to take great-grandma out for lunch. We listened to Little Miss L. tell Nan about attending school this fall and how she is growing up because she can now put her hair in a ponytail. Oh, the little things you are proud of when you are three. After a fabulous lunch, we decided to do some shopping. I am excited to say that I purchased some pretty awesome yellow dask mask sheets for spring! Then it was off to my parents where we were spoiled with a scrumptious meal. Let's just say that on Saturday night I arrived home with a very very full belly!
Sunday, the kids were excited to wake up and celebrate St.Patrick's Day. Here are a few pics I was able to take before they dashed off in excitement.
The hubby and I even had a chance to sneak out of the house for a bit to enjoy a date night at the hockey game. It was great game as the home team won! I am one tired momma after this weekend.

14 weeks
Some of you may recall that I maintained a weekly pregnancy blog while expecting Baby D. I love the fact that I can look back on the progress of the pregnancy and have decided to do the same this time around.
How far along?: 14 weeks
How big is baby?: From head to bottom, baby measures 3 1/2 inches - about the size of a lemon - and weighs about 1 1/2 ounces.
Maternity clothes?: I have not bought any maternity clothes yet. My pants are definitely tight around the waist and I often have to unzip the zipper. Leggings are my best friend!
Food cravings?: I was extremely sick in the first trimester. I did not want to look, smell, or eat anything. I actually lost weight in the first trimester. Only in the last week have I been able to get my appetite back and gain some weight. I have been eating a lot of apples lately.
Sleep?: Sleep... what is sleep? I haven't had a good night's sleep in months. I am constantly waking through the night because I cannot seem to get comfortable. It could also be the fact that I am having some crazy dreams these days.
Gender?: Do not know. As it stands, the hubby would prefer to let this little bundle be a surprise because we didn't wait for the first two but I am all for finding out the sex of this little bean as soon as we can.
Exercise?: Let's just say that going up and down the stairs has been pretty much the extent of my physical activity.
What's been going on? Last week was a big week for us. We got to hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time and we also had an ultrasound. Our baby was moving around like a little fish and even did a perfect headstand. Last week, we finally let the cat out of the bag and told our family and friends. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes, we are truly blessed to have such great people in our lives.

our family is growing!
Many of you may have been wondering why I have been MIA on here - I have been a little under the weather lately. No, not because I had the flu or a cold, but our family of four is excited to announce this coming September we are blessed with the opportunity to become a family of five!!! Yes, you read that right. This momma has a baby in her belly. It took awhile for it to sink in that we are going to be welcoming another little miracle but we couldn't be more excited! This one has been giving momma a hard time so far but I am slowing getting my energy back and can even manage to get some food down now. I can't wait to share this next chapter in our lives with all of you!

graduation
There have been a million proud mommy moments over the past few years but one that stands out in my mind lately is watching my daughter receive her graduation certificate from her preschool prep course. If you recall, Little Miss L. did not want to partake in this program what-so-ever. The first day, she cried all morning, wouldn't eat and kept repeating "Please, don't take me there!" Luckily, it became apparent at the end of the first day she would absolutely enjoy her time while there. Each day, I dropped off and picked up a little girl who would be smiling from ear-to-ear. I would always be greeted with " Mommy, I had an awesome day. I told you I would." The program was 6 weeks in length and it sure went quickly. We were all sad to see it end. On the last day, they threw a little graduation party and each child was asked to the front to receive their certificate. I watched as many children either walked slowly towards the teacher as shy as could be, or their parents were left to push their bums to the front. I wasn't sure how Miss L. would approach this endeavor but when her name was called, she skipped to the front, gave a big ol' handshake and then turned around and gave us all the big thumbs up! I could not have been prouder at that moment. I keep replaying that scene in my head over the last week or so, making the next big step to Kindergarten may not be such a great challenge as I had once thought.
